TERMS:

-All sales are final!

-No item can be returned after 30 days from purchase, NO EXCEPTIONS!  Inspect and install your parts ASAP!!!

-As of 01/01/08 There will be NO CASH/CREDIT refunds at anytime, in store credit only (good for any new or used parts and accessories or service), NO EXCEPTIONS!  There is a 25% restock fee deducted from in-store credit on all returns.  This covers admin times (paperwork) and tech labor times for proper removal and the inventory of parts.

-All parts returned must have a copy of the original invoice and be approved before by a sales rep, before items are returned.

-No returns on overheated parts.

-No returns on dissasembled or altered parts. 

-No returns on any special ordered parts.

-No returns on any body panels, body cuts, or sections.

-In the event the buyer cannot provide date and month of production or partial vin # at the time of order, The Euro Depot LLC is NOT responsible for buyer’s errors or incorrect parts received.

-$40.00 returned check fee, collection services filed.

-We do not exchange or buy used parts from customers. 

-Buyers is responsible for all shipping costs.

-All pricing and terms are subject to change without notice.  Used parts pricing is based on a fair national-average of its market value, and in most cases below the average national cost for a quality replacement part available elsewhere.

-All parts are inspected to be free of damage (unless otherwise noted at time of sale, i.e. 'dent and scratch' sales) prior to shipment.  If a part is damaged in transit, a damage claim MUST be filed immediately (within 48 hours upon receiving shipment), with the shipping company, to warranty the item(s); UPS: 1-800-PICK-UPS (please do this first).  Item will need to be re-boxed in original packaging for inspection by carrier.  For the carriers' contact information, please contact our store.

-The Euro Depot LLC does not assume responsibility or liability for subsequent, incidental or circumstantial labor costs, loss, or damage during install or use of this merchandise.  No reimbursement or compensation for installation, removal, repair, replacement, shipment delay, mileage, ever.  Customers are responsible for ensuring that a certified technician professionally & properly installs the parts we ship you using the correct tools for the right job.

  

WARRANTY & RETURN POLICY:

-In the event of a problem with a part, please call or have your garage contact us immediately prior to removing or attempting any repair to a part.

-30 DAY LIMITED WARRANTY on all parts PROFESSIONALLY INSTALLED ONLY.  If a mechanical part is proven & confirmed defective we will replace or refund purchase at our discretion.  All shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility.  In the event a mechanical part is defective, and a replacement is not obtainable, in-store credit only will be issued, no cash/credit refunds.

 

-MECHANICAL PARTS will need returned to us for inspection if defective. Buyer responsible for all shipping costs associated.  We will cover the part under warranty if deemed defective,

 

-Exchange only on all electrical parts, no cash refunds or credits. 

 

-New parts can be returned within 30 days for in-store credit with a 25% restocking fee.  These returns must be uninstalled showing no damage and returned in the original part box, resale ready.  Installation or evidence suggesting voids warranty.  Damaged boxes voids warranty, please repackage returns properly.

 

-The Euro Depot is not responsible for misdiagnosis.  Used parts returned not DEFECTIVE, which are returned for whatever reason, are subject to a 25% restocking fee.  Customers are responsible for all return shipment fees, no exceptions.

 

-When applicable, new parts core charges will be included at the time of purchase.  A refund will be issued when we receive your rebuildable core and it has been approved by the remanufacturer (this can take upto 4-6 weeks).  Non-rebuildable or incomplete cores are not acceptable for credit.  All cores must be returned in the factory packaging from the remanufacturer.  Please include a copy of the invoice marking the core return being made for reference purposes.

 

-Absolutely, positively, 100% NO warranty on ANY used “maintenance items.”

This includes seals, mounts, gaskets, hoses, bearings, bushings, bulbs, boots, fluids, tires, bolts, nuts, clips, filters, brake calipers etc.  We recommend these items should be replaced NEW upon the initial repair to maintain your car. Cutting corners & wasting time on a repair can be dangerous, saves nothing, and will cost you more in the long-run.

-No warranty on "extras".  Extras are defined as those parts that may be left onto the main part purchased, for example, a steering rack may have the tie rods still installed on it; if purchasing a steering rack, only the body of the rack is warranted, not the tie rods.  Engines, engines many times will include all the accessories; if an engine is purchase the accessories should be considered 'freebees' and are not covered under any type of warranty, only the engine long block (block/head).

 

-Shipping:  Shipping prices are the purchaser's responsibility and are non-refundable.

-Warranty Exchange:  Warranty only applies to the orignal purchaser of the items through our store.  Transfer of ownership of items, or parts voids all warranty.  This can include, but is not limited to: installed parts in a car, the car gets sold to someone else; parts are gifted, sold, or transfered to another individual; reselling (parts locators) parts. 

Under any type of warranty 'exchange', the customer is responsible for all shipment charges to and from our store of the parts being returned and the parts being replaced.  We will be happy to replace the defective part for the customer but the shipping is the customers responsibility.

 

AFTERMARKET PARTS:

 

-We carry a full line of new replacement parts, from German, OE, OEM, to aftermarket.  Aftermarket parts are manufactured by ‘off-shore’ companies (generally in Asia).  These parts are fully functional and will work with the desired application, but the part may not have gone through the traditional testing measures of German parts, and/or may be made out of alternative materials versus the original configuration.

 

-Aftermarket parts are covered under a limited 30 day warranty from date of purchase against mechanical defect or failure.  All other terms and conditions as outlined in the warranty section of our website also apply to aftermarket parts in regards to it being installed by a professional, terms, etc.  At no time is The Euro-Depot, LLC, is employees, or its subsidiaries responsible for any subsequent labor costs which may occur in using aftermarket parts.  The Euro-Depot, LLC, does agree to warranty and replace all failed parts that remain within our guidelines.  Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.  Warranty approval is based upon our discretion and is handled on a case per case basis.  Any actions that are against the terms outlined herein will immediately void all warranty.

 

BODY PANELS:

-No returns on body panels/cuts/sections, no exceptions!

-Used Body Panels: (sheet metal, glass, trim, etc.) The condition of a used body panel is defined by its own individual characteristics.  Labor to do minor repair and painting is an incidental cost.  If used body panels are preferred for a repair, we have many available to replace your damaged panel(s).  We may recommend a new panel if you are unfamiliar with completing a repair with used panels needing refinishing. Unless damaged in shipment involving an insurance claim, all body panels are sold as-is and are non-returnable.     

 

 DRIVE-SHAFTS:

-Used Drive Shaft assemblies: The Euro Depot always recommends a new center bearing & flex disk before installing a used drive shaft.  Drive shaft assemblies are inspected for wear, and guaranteed to work, and are non-returnable.  Note: Mild, notchy u-joints on used drive-shafts is considered acceptable for used conditions.  ALL used drive-shafts have notchy u-joints.  This occurs from the minimal amount of movement in the u-joint when installed and used in the car due to a low inclination angle of the driveline, i.e. the u-joint moves very minimally so a slight notch is formed over time.  This does not hamper or cause any adverse drive shaft functional conditions.  If the u-joint is seized and can not be moved, it is then deemed failed and useless.  If you need further explanation, please contact our sales staff.

 

ENGINE WARRANTY:
 Used engine assemblies are run tested, inspected & guaranteed not to have cracked blocks, cylinder heads, knocking or excessive wear due to high mileage or lack of maintenance.  

 

Engines are guaranteed to be free of & warranted against catastrophic mechanical failure for 30 days.  

 

Parts external to both cylinder head and engine block (i.e., plug wires, distributor, injectors, etc.) are not warranted. 

 

Extended warranty is available separately for engines and cylinder heads, please call for details.

 

Failure to replace timing belt, water pump, tensioner, rear mail seal VOIDS ALL WARRANTY.

 

Overheating or operating with improper fluid levels voids all warranty.

 

Leaking seals and gaskets are not warranted. -  Inspect or replace all gaskets as necessary before installation.

 

Modification or use of engine for which it was not originally designed VOIDS ALL WARRANTY.

 

Using engine DURING competitive driving or racing VOIDS ALL WARRANTY.

 

Used engines do not include items pertaining to engine management such as ECU’s, Idle control valves, etc.  We will always attempt to leave as many accessories as possible at time of purchase on the engine, but this is no guaranteed unless requested at time of purchase. 

 

Select engine oil pans are sold separately and not included (some models).  

 

All engine assemblies produced before 1983 are sold as-is and marked core only on invoice, and are priced accordingly.

Engines are the own creature and each has the own unique characteristics.  From time to time engines of age may need some tweaking to make them 100% or to your unique specific needs.  On older (pre-98 models), although not neccessarily required items such as all seals, gaskets, head gaskets, water pumps, timing belts/chains spark plugs and other easily accessible 'wear items' should be replaced simply due to ease of accessibility with the engine out of the car.  This again may not be required but is recommended.  We recommend this on ALL engines, but especially on earlier models simply due to their age.  Please remember that 99.995% of all of the cars we receive are/were still running driving cars post impact and it is logical to believe that in order to propel themselves' into their fate the engines/car had to be functional and operational, i.e. a parked car does not wreck itself!  All engines are thoroughly inspected by our certified technicians and are further QC'ed by a shop forman for verification pre-shipment.  We will never send/ship anything that is suspect in any way or DOA.  Please install engines and all parts ASAP!  Waiting to install can cause gaskets/seals to dry up and possible other internal issues.

 

TRANSMISSION WARRANTY:

 

Used transmissions are run tested & guaranteed to shift all gears and work when re-installed & adjusted correctly.

 

Transmissions are guaranteed to be free of & warranted against catastrophic mechanical failure for 30 days.

 

WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:

 

-Buyers Torque converter, flywheel, clutch parts, axles, seals, cables, electronics, sensors, switches, gaskets, linkage(s) associated with managing & operating the transmission.

 

-Loss caused by no or an insufficient amount of fluid in transmission.

-Any damage caused by abuse, neglect, accident, or natural perils

-Loss caused by the transmission being improperly installed.

-Loss caused by overheating, over revving, or road hazard.    

-Loss caused by modification or use of transmission for which it was not originally designed.

-Loss caused by failure of a part or parts of the transmission that are not covered by this warranty.

 

WARRANTY IS VOIDED IF:

            

-Damage is done to the aluminum body/casing of the transmission after install.

-The Transmission is used for competitive driving or racing.

-Transmission is operated with improper detent adjustment,

-Transmission is operated with low fluid level

-Transmission (Automatic) is operated after failure to install new filter.

 

Damage to front pump voids all warranties.
